90’s kids who have now developed into full-blown cannabis enthusiasts, this is the edible recipe for you. Nay, this is the recipe for us. I, myself, grew up loving the standard version of Pop-Tarts, but once I gave this Pot Pop-Tarts recipe a try, I was instantly swayed away from the original version. This infused interpretation takes everything you love about the classic toaster pastry, and elevates it to new, mellow heights with the help of everyone’s favorite herbal supplement: cannabis.

So, in hopes of simplifying the whole process, I went ahead and divided up the list of ingredients for you.So, for the Pot Pop-Tart, itself, you’ll need:

Instructions
- For starters, you’ll want to head over to your oven, and preheat that bad boy to a standard 375°.
- As that warms up, line a couple of nearby baking sheets with some parchment paper, so as to avoid sticking during the baking process.
- Next, you’ll want to grab a mixing bowl. In it, combine your salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and flour. Following that, you’ll want to cut in your cannabis-infused butter, and blend those elements together until the contents take on a crumbly consistency, look, and texture.
- When you see that happen, you can add in your vanilla extract.
- Then, mix in your cold water. But be sure to only do so a tablespoon at a time. Keep up that mixing, until the dough starts to adhere to itself. When you see it form into a ball, you can proceed onward with the recipe.
- At this point, you’ll want to take your dough, and split it into two equal portions. Wrap each of those halves in cellophane, and toss them in the fridge for an hour, at the very least.
Filling Instructions
- Upon completing that step, you’ll want to work on the filling. In order to do that, grab another mixing bowl, and in it, beat your cannabis-infused butter, cinnamon, and ¼ cup of sugar together.
- When you’ve adequately blended those elements in with one another, you’ll want to grab your dough, and roll that sucker out on a floured countertop. Keep working the dough, until you achieve a ½” thickness.
- Then, cut that newly-rolled-out dough into rectangles.
Filling a dough
- In each of those rectangles, apply a tablespoon’s worth of filling. But only on half of the rectangles, as you will then use the other half to cover them up.
- With a fork, press down on the edges to seal them shut. Don’t forget to puncture a few small holes in the top of each “tart” for a bit of ventilation during the baking process.
- Now, place each of these recently-assembled pastries onto those previously-lined baking sheets, before tossing them into that preheated oven to bake for a little under a half an hour.
- Once they turn golden brown, you’ll know they are ready to take out.
- When they are ready, you can remove them from the oven, and place them all atop a wire rack to thoroughly cool down for roughly 15 minutes or so.
- Then, when that time period has elapsed, you can apply as little (or as much) frosting as you’d like. If you have sprinkles (and feel fancy) you can add some of those on top, as well.
- Only one step left now: ENJOY!
