If you are glancing at this recipe’s title for the very first time, you are likely having the same thoughts I had. Things like, “How?” or “What the–?” may be crossing your mind right now, and trust me, I don’t blame you. Like I said, I was super confused by this recipe for Ganja Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake, too. But, thank goodness I didn’t let that stop me, because this is one of the most surprisingly scrumptious treats that I’ve made in quite some time.

What’s even better is you barely have to know anything about baking to completely nail this recipe. It’s true. Personally, I don’t have a lot of culinary acumen to rely on, but that didn’t matter at all, as I was able to pull off this recipe with the greatest of ease, and I’m sure you will, too!

Instructions

  • Kick things off by preheating your oven to 350°
  • Then, grab your cake pan, and expertly grease it up to avoid sticking during the baking process.
  • Next, put your chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and proceed to melt them in the microwave. Do this by heating it up in 20-second intervals, stirring the chocolate after each interval, for roughly 2 minutes.
  • When the chocolate is fully smooth and completely melted, you can stir in your desired amount of cannabis tincture.
  • Now, grab your food processor. In it, blend together your eggs and beans. Keep that going until the contents are nice and smooth.
  • Then, toss in your baking powder and sugar, before you pulse everything together.
  • Follow that up with your melted infused chocolate, and keep blending everything together in the food processor until you reestablish a smoothness in the mixture. Don’t forget to scrape the corners of the processor every so often, to ensure that all the infused chocolate is being intricately incorporated.
  • When you’re happy with how blended together everything is, you can distribute that infused batter into your cake pan.
  • Then, once your oven hits that desired temperature, toss it in to bake for about 40 minutes. When you can cleanly stick a knife in and out of the middle, you can remove it from the oven.
  • Let this deliciously dank cake rest on a wire rack to cool down for close to 15 minutes, before flipping it onto a serving dish.
  • Lastly, cover the whole thing in a dusting of confectioners’ sugar, and serve it up!
