It’s a lot easier than you’d think to make, too, which is why I consider this one of the most valuable recipes currently circulating the internet.

Instructions
- Kick things off by spreading your sliced peaches between multiple paper towel layers, in order to adequately dry them gently. You can achieve this by softly pressing on them every so often, and when you see that a paper towel has become fully moist, you can replace it with a fresh one. This whole process, in my experience, never takes longer than 20 minutes or so.
- As those dry, you can pour your melted cannabis-infused butter into the bottom of a handy-dandy slow cooker.
- Then, in a mixing bowl, combine your nutmeg, cinnamon, and brown sugar. When those are expertly intertwined with one another, you can sprinkle it over the butter in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- At this point, you’ll want to strategically place your peaches in a “snug” layer atop the brown sugar in the slow cooker. If you need to create a second layer in order to adequately fit all of your peaches, you may feel free to do so.
- Now, grab an electric mixer and a mixing bowl. In the bowl, beat your softened cannabis-infused butter together with your white sugar. Keep that going until the contents develop an airy, light consistency. That usually only takes a few minutes.
- When that happens, proceed to beat in your eggs, but only do so one at a time, and don’t beat in the next egg, until the current one is fully incorporated into the mix.
- Upon completing that step, you can then beat in your delicious almond extract.
- Then, in another mixing bowl, whisk together your salt, baking powder, and flour.
- When those are fully mixed in with one another, gradually stir that into the egg mixture, being mindful to alternatively add in your milk. But just remember to begin and end with your flour mixture.
- Keep mixing all of those contents together until the batter is fully incorporated.
- Take that batter, and start to spoon it over your peaches, and be sure to do so as evenly as possible.
- Following that, carefully drape some paper towels over the opening of the slow cooker, then cover it up with a lid. This will help deal with the inevitable condensation that’ll occur during the slow cook.
- Speaking of, you will then want to cook this entire thing, on “High,” until it passes that traditional “toothpick test of done-ness,” which in this case, will be performed with a lengthy skewer. In my experience, that takes about 2 – 2 ½ hours.
- When that time period has completed, remove the lid and the adjacent paper towels.
- With protective oven mitts on, remove the liner of the slow cooker, and place it on the counter to cool down for about 10 minutes or so.
- When that brief time period has elapsed, take a knife, and run it along the edge of the cake, before very carefully inverting it onto a decent size serving dish.
