Nature’s Care Dispensary
About Us
Flower to the People
Dispensary
I’m not sure why, but any dispensary that somehow alludes to the organic or natural elements of cannabis, always gets my attention.
If I had to venture a guess as to why that’s the case, I’d probably say that’s because I’ve often argued on behalf of cannabis for multiple years before legalization was even a consideration. And, in doing so, I’d often harken back to the fact that cannabis, unlike actually harmful drugs, is a naturally growing flower that we have the fortunate opportunity to partake in. And, when we do, it helps us live better, peaceful, more stress-free lives.
So, when I stumbled across Nature’s Care on my most recent search for a new dispensary to try, I couldn’t help but find myself tremendously intrigued by their unspoken passion for the plant. Their namesake has this inherent respect for cannabis within it, and I must say, I feel an instant bond with this place.
Also, one thing about me that you may not know: I’m a sucker for a good logo.
To be specific, I’m partial to anything that reminds me of a baseball team. And this charming “N” with a subtle allusion to cannabis, via a weed leaf emerging from behind their favorite letter, is really doing it for me, as far as design goes. Far too often, establishments pay little to no attention to this eye-catching detail of their business model. And, personally, I think that’s a damn shame.
I mean, think about it.
If a place is super confident in itself, they sell merchandise, sporting their brand’s logo and name. Which, I’m sure, you’ve all seen more than a handful of times now, especially since January, when recreational use came into play. There’s an unspoken pride that coincides with such a move, and it instills a large level of confidence in the average cannabis consumer without much effort. At least, that’s what happened in my case, anyway.
So, needless to say, when I spotted this cool logo, I couldn’t help but fall in love with it. I could already envision myself rocking this classic “N” on a hat or hoodie. And I don’t think I’m the only one who would make such a statement.
That said, if this place ends up being a complete disaster, I doubt I’ll even think about this striking logo ever again.
But, I suppose there’s only one way to find out the true value of this place, right?
Everything You Need To Know About Nature's Care In Illinois
Atmosphere
Driving up to this place, I’m happy to see it’s a “stand-alone” building, which is a welcomed departure from the typical strip mall location I am used to encountering. And, with them being their own neighbor, so to speak, they are able to offer up a moderate amount of parking, with a lot right in front of their fairly-bland building.
But, that lot is for medical patients only. Recreational customers are still left to their own devices, as far as finding parking is concerned. However, should they try to test their luck and park across the street at the Church, they will most likely be towed, as that establishment is fed up with an onslaught of random cars filling their lot on a consistent basis. So, keep that mind if you’re a recreational customer, in need of a parking spot.
The vibe of this place is incredibly calming the second you step inside. It’s akin to a swanky museum gift shop or high-class bookstore. Ambient lighting and mellow colors surround you as your peruse through their products.
Every single person here, from the front desk staffer to their team of super-knowledgeable budtenders, are downright fantastic. The phenomenal employees at this place are reason enough to check out Nature’s Care. They helped me find everything I could ever want, and for that, I am forever grateful.
Inventory
Obviously, like with most places that cater to both crowds, the medical menu is a bit more substantial than the recreational one, but that doesn’t mean it’s too feeble to enjoy. There are plenty of options for the adult-use customer to partake in. But, if you are fortunate enough to have a medical marijuana card, you’re in luck, because this place has amazing selection.
With almost 200 products to choose from, my eyes lit up at the bountiful selection that they present to their loyal customer base.
Now, I have to say, I was beyond upset to see they only had 3 flower options to choose from. Which, I understand, is due to the over-buying of bud since January. But, to be honest, this did bum me out quite a bit, I’m not going to lie.
Taking that into consideration, they did have roughly 90 vapes and almost 70 edibles to choose from. Which, as you can probably already assume, is a lot more than the average dispensary, that’s for sure.
Prices
For all of their top-tier products, you can expect to fork over a top-tier amount of cash. But, that’s solely because of the increase in potency, when compared to most of their other products. Now, that said, I don’t mean to imply that their menu is full of substandard items. It’s just that some of their products are a bit “stronger” than others, that’s all.
Which means you can easily find some bargain-friendly deals at this place, without having to look too hard. Also, if you are searching for a real “steal-of-a-deal,” I’d suggest cruising through their extensive edible selection. They have a lot of quality items at affordable prices here, so you’ll likely find something that suits your needs in this category of cannabis with the utmost ease.
Conclusion
If you’re a recreational, purely adult-use consumer, I’d say check this place out, but don’t go into the ordeal with super high hopes, as this place routinely sells out of top-notch items quickly, and they have to legally prioritize their patients first and foremost. In turn, that usually results in a lackluster amount of options to choose from for recreational customers.
But, if you’re a medical marijuana patient, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. They have their own parking lot, amazing staff and budtenders, and the litany of affordable options on their large menu is unlike most other dispensaries in the area.
So, yes, you should most certainly check out Nature’s Care as soon as possible. They are phenomenal at what they do, and I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with your overall experience here.
