I really appreciate the friendly service at this location. This was only my second visit, but I can tell that the employees truly try to connect with each customer who comes in, despite the challenges of conducting business in the midst of a global pandemic.

One of Illinois’ premier cannabis producers, PTS puts purity first when it comes to their products and the same holds true for their CBD Capsules. Each capsule contains coconut oil and CBD-dominant cannabis oil. The CBD Capsules contain a 2:1 ratio of CBD to THC – each capsule contains 20mg CBD and 10mg THC. As a result of this ratio, this product is an ideal choice for users looking for relief from chronic pain and sleep disturbances.

PTS capsules come in a small pill bottle with a twist off cap – it’s kind of a medicinal look, but it makes me confident that this is a quality product. All product ingredients and testing information is on the side of the package. Each capsule is filled with a cannabis-infused coconut oil. It looks as if they’re all filled equally, which I like to see. The capsules are a bit greasy due to the oil inside.

Aroma 5/5
These capsules aren’t necessarily to be enjoyed in terms of aroma, so I’m giving them a 5 by default. There is a very slight hint of cannabis and coconut, but nothing major to note.

Taste 5/5
Same as above – these capsules can just be swallowed for easiest delivery.

I’m really surprised at just how effective the PTS CBD Capsules actually are. I swallowed three of the capsules late in the evening. About one hour after ingestion, I started feeling a relaxing body buzz that started in my feet then spread throughout my body. Two hours after ingestion, a head high kicked in with an intense euphoria. I experienced intense couch-lock, but the overwhelming contentment and just positive feelings put my mind in a good place before heading to bed. The packaging on the PTS CBD Capsules clearly states that this product is used to achieve “Balance,” and that’s exactly what I felt. Strong effects lasted around two hours.

 

 

This is a great product that any cannabis user should try. I felt better effects from these capsules than almost any other edible I’ve tried. This would be a great option for users who need relief from a variety of conditions. I can see this being especially effective for pain relief – the body buzz was so intense. When used for this purpose, and in a smaller dose, these would be great for daytime enjoyment. Otherwise, I’d recommend the capsules for nighttime use due to the overwhelming relaxation that these capsules provide.

Edibles can be pretty hit or miss, and this one is a definite hit. I’ll be heading back to MedMen soon to try the rest of what PTS has to offer in terms of their capsule line of products.
