These Marijuana Mushroom & Black Bean Quesadillas Are Fantastic

Needless to say, the moment I took my first bite of these Marijuana Mushroom & Black Bean Quesadillas, I was hooked. I couldn’t believe how savory and filling these culinary creations of cannabis greatness could be. Throw it in between two tortillas and I’m happy. That’s basically my approach towards anything quesadilla-related. So, when I initially found this recipe for Marijuana Mushroom & Black Bean Quesadillas, I was more than intrigued, I was excited. I couldn’t wait to give this THC-version of a classic meal a try.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Cannabis-Infused Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Salsa
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 3/4 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • 1 Pinch Salt & Pepper To Taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 Cup Canned Black Beans Rinsed, Drained
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 Cup Sliced Fresh Mushrooms

Instructions

  • For starters, place a skillet over “Medium-to-High” heat. Once that warms up a touch, toss in your cannabis-infused olive oil to heat up.
  • Once that reaches a moderate level of warmth, you can then toss in your onions and mushrooms to saute amongst each other. Keep that going for 60 seconds or so. Once they are lightly browned, you know you can move on with the recipe.
  • When that happens, toss in your pepper, salt, cilantro, and black beans. Let those elements saute with one another until everything is sporting a cooked, brown color scheme, which usually only takes a couple more minutes or so.
  • Upon completing that step, you’ll want to place your tortillas in a different, completely clean, totally dry skillet.
  • Take your mushroom mixture, and equally apply a layer of it onto half of each waiting tortilla.
  • On top of that layer, place your lime juice and mozzarella cheese, before you fold each of your tortillas over those delicious ingredients.
  • Kick your burner up to “Medium” heat, and cook these quesadillas until they are delectably crispy and browned, which doesn’t take more than a couple minutes per side.
  • Once that is done, you can remove it from the skillet, and proceed to cut it into equally-sized wedges, which you can then serve up to all of your stoner friends - with a side of salsa, of course.
