Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal
In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and cannabis-infused butter together over low heat or in the microwave. Stir until fully melted and well combined. Allow it to cool slightly
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy
Gradually add the melted butter mixture to the sugar and egg mixture, stirring until well combined
Sift in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix
If desired, fold in chocolate chips, nuts, or other add-ins of your choice
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack
Once cooled, lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve
