I’m not entirely sure how relatable this memory is to the rest of you, millennial online shoppers out there, but I recall spending an awful lot of my childhood years cruising through my local mall.
Sure, as a youngster, it was solely to accompany my mother on shopping trips. I would find these journeys to the multi-leveled department store abundantly boring and extremely arduous.

The minutes (and hours) I spent moaning and groaning about the whole ordeal must’ve annoyed my poor mother like crazy. But it was hard for me to behave any other way, especially when everything around me just seemed incredibly boring and obnoxiously “adult.”

The only thing I wanted to do was go home, eat junk food, and play video games. You know, like any other American child in the early 90’s. But, seeing as how hiring a babysitter to cover a quick trip to the mall didn’t seem financially wise in my parents’ eyes, I was forced to endure these seemingly endless trips to the mall with my mother.

However, as I grew into a pre-teen, things changed.
As puberty was kicking into full gear, my friends and I, bored with the humdrum of our small town, decided to meander around the spacious walkways of this very same mall whenever we could.
We’d meet up there after school, or on the weekends, and just, well, hang out. None of us had more than enough money for a slice of pizza at the food court, so shopping wasn’t our main goal. The only thing we wanted to do was feel like we we’re doing something, around people. If we didn’t, we’d likely go stir-crazy from insurmountable boredom.

Now, I just mentioned something quite crucial there: The Food Court.
We were all too broke to go on any sort of toy-infused shopping spree, so the majority of our meager monetary means went towards greasy food found in that particular realm of the shopping center. But, unlike my friends, I was smart enough to diversify my feeble finances, and get more than just a humble lunch.
I understand that’s incredibly vague, so allow me to elaborate a bit.

There was a quaint candy shop en route to the food court at my mall. They had every sort of confection under the sun. So, knowing I was going to be in the mood for a sweet after my incredibly unhealthy meal, I always reserved a few extra cents for a couple of the best, most cost-effective candies one can buy.
That’s right, party people – I’m talking about lollipops.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a living soul who would say anything negative about these classic treats. They are delicious, long-lasting, and their simplistic handheld nature makes them super easy to enjoy on the go. They are, in my opinion, the best candy (for its price), without a doubt.
Same goes for their marijuana-infused interpretations that can be found at damn near every dispensary across the country.
But, what if I told you I knew how to make some Hash-Infused Lollipops at home?
Interested? I knew you would be.
And good thing, too, because that’s precisely what I’m here to do.
So, roll up your sleeves, my fellow enthusiasts. We’re about to make some sincerely scrumptious, and surprisingly strong, Hash-Infused Lollipops.
How To Make Hash-Infused Lollipops Like A Pro Butter

Instructions

  • To kick things off, grab your non-stick cooking spray and grease up that cookie sheet of yours. At this point, you’ll then want to grab your lollipop sticks and strategically put them on that cookie sheet.
  • After that, grab a rather small bowl for mixing. In it, toss your Jell-O mixture. After that, throw in your hash, and start mashing and mixing all of the contents together, until the hash is such a fine powder, it expertly blends in with the original Jell-O mixture.
  • When you’re happy with how all that looks, you should fire up your heat source to a “Low-to-Medium” setting. Then, you’ll grab a saucepan, and place it over that very same heat source. This is when you should firmly secure your candy thermometer to the side.
  • You will now want to add in your sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Stir these ingredients together to the best of your ability. You will want to continue that blending motion, until you begin to notice that the contents are boiling. At this point, you can stop all of that stirring, and ever-so-slightly increase the heat setting.
  • Keeping a watchful eye on your candy thermometer, you will know it is time to move forward in the recipe once your contents hit a temperature of about 260°. When you hit that mark, you can then dump in your infused Jell-O mixture from before. Don’t forget to remove the candy thermometer first, though.
  • This is the part of the recipe when you need to stir more than you ever have before. I really mean it, too. Give it all you got, people. If you slow down, the contents could cool down, which is the last thing that we want to happen at this time. It’s all about heat during this particular step. So, keep that in mind as you stir your heart out.
  • Once you feel like you’ve done an adequate job of combining both of those elements, you may then proceed to grab tablespoons of this concoction at a time, and placing them strategically atop your previously-placed lollipop sticks, currently resting atop that sprayed cookie sheet.
  • When you’ve completed that brief, but all-too important, step, it becomes a waiting game, as these babies need to cool down before they can be enjoyed.

If you have some time, fire up a celebratory bowl, do some errands, and check back on these in a couple of hours. But, if you’re like me, and just can’t wait to enjoy the fruits of your labor, you can throw these bad bodys in the fridge for a speedier cool down. It’s completely up to you.
But, however you choose to go about cooling them, the fact remains that you just made a killer batch of Hash-Infused Lollipops, and you should be mighty proud of yourself for doing such a great job.
