Obviously, you’re going to want to start things off by caramelizing your onions. To do that, you’ll want to warm up a saucepan over “Medium” heat. In it, toss in your oil and onion. Keep stirring the two ingredients together, as you let the onion cook for 50 minutes or so.
Then, once the onions are fully caramelized, you’ll know it's time to remove them from the heat, and place them to the side, so they can cool down a bit.
When they return to room temperature, toss those onions, your cannabis-infused butter, and your desired amount of salt, into a food processor. Blend and pulse all of those elements together, until they are fully incorporated with one another.
Once you’re happy with how everything looks, you can remove the contents from the food processor, and slowly form the entire thing into a log, and cover it with cellophane, before tossing it in the fridge to toughen up a bit.
Then, when some time goes by, check on it. If it has reached your desired consistency, you can use it however you see fit.
And that’s it, ladies and gentlemen. That’s how you whip up a batch of Cannabis Caramelized Onion Butter.
