Preheat oven at solid 400°
Like with most recipes, you’ll want to start off by preheating your oven. This time, set that trusty kitchen appliance to a solid 400°.
As that heats up to our desired temperature, you’ll want to grab a bowl, and whisk together your flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.
In a completely separate bowl, whisk together your buttermilk, vanilla, and eggs.
Once blended adequately, you can add that bowl to your crumb mixture, and stir everything together until the entirety of the bowl takes on a slightly moist consistency. At which point, you can stir in your hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
Sprinkle some flour onto your countertop, before gently kneading out the contents. I’d say aim to knead the whole thing around 8-10 times.
After that, form the dough into a hearty 6” circle.
Then, cut that into 8 separate wedges, and place each one onto a previously-greased baking sheet.
Your oven should be good to go at this point, and if it is, slide that baking sheet inside, and let it bake for 15-20 minutes. You’ll know these scones are ready when they start to turn golden brown.
When you see that happen, remove them from the oven, and allow them to cool down a touch on a wire rack, but not too much, as you’ll want to serve them warm. And, that’s it!
That’s how you make THC-Infused Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Scones in the comfort of your own cannabis kitchen! Pretty easy, right?
