Instructions
To get things going with this recipe, you’re going to need to grab a mixing bowl. In it, you’ll beat together your flour, ½ cup of sugar, vanilla extract, melted cannabis-infused butter, light corn syrup, evaporated milk, and egg yolks.
Next, place a skillet over “Medium” heat, and toss in your 2 cups of brown sugar. Keep them warming in this skillet until they brown up a bit more. When you see that happen, remove it from the heat, and add water. When the water is added, place it back on the heat, and keep it there until the sugar fully dissolves.
Once that occurs, pour your egg yolk mixture into the skillet. Allow those elements to cook among st one another until the contents start to thicken up. When the thickening takes place, let those ingredients continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
After that brief time period, take that filling, and evenly distribute it into your 2 pie shells.
Now, in another mixing bowl, beat your egg whites until they become frothy and foamy. Once that happens, add in your ½ cup of sugar and your cream of tartar. Keep mixing those ingredients together until you develop sturdy peaks in the mixture.
Take that “peaked” mixture, and spread it over the pies, effectively sealing the crust’s edges.
Then, preheat your oven to 325°.
When it reaches that temperature, toss those pies in to bake for about 15 minutes.
Following that, you can remove them from the oven, and allow them to cool for a moment on the counter, before you grab yourself a slice, and dig in!
