Clementine is a popular sativa-dominant hybrid. Its parents are Tangie and Lemon Skunk. This joint is a Big Dog, the larger of the two sizes in the line of Dogwalker pre-rolls. Big Dogs are luxury pre-rolls that contain 0.75g of premium flower.
Dogwalkers are produced by Green Thumb Industries (GTI), the company that also makes the popular vaping brand, Rythm, and candy brand, Incredibles.
Appearance 3/5
The pre-roll was short and thick. After the 1” filter, there was about 1 1/2” of bud. At the tip, the joint was at least 1⁄2” in diameter. I found this jarring, since the last 0.75g Dogwalker pre-roll I tried had more typical dimensions.
The contents of the pre-roll are ground extremely fine — not in a shake-like way, but in a deliberate espresso-grind kind of way. Presumably, like espresso, this gives a more dense, potent hit.
Aroma 5/5
The aroma of the Clementine pre-roll is pleasantly strong. Even though there was less than a gram of flower, the smell filled the room as soon as I opened the container. Although it doesn’t smell strongly of citrus, Clementine has an extremely fragrant, fruit-forward smell. The scent is sweet, tangy, and extremely potent. At first, I was hit with a powerful cherry aroma. Then, I smelled notes of rubber, in a “tire store” sort of way.
Taste 4/5
Although it is described as a citrus flavored strain, I didn’t taste much citrus, to be honest. It is a sweet and fruity strain, but not all that citrusy. I thought the flavors were closer to melon, and I could taste a subtle mossiness, too.
One of Clementine’s parents is Lemon Skunk, but the flavor is more skunky than lemon, which in my opinion, is a good thing. I avoid strains with lemon in the name because of their distinct, funky flavor, and Clementine doesn’t have a hint of that whatsoever.
Effect 5/5
The effects of Clementine are energizing and mellowing. This strain is a wonderful hybrid, providing the calmness indicas and the focus of sativas.
I smoked a quarter of this pre-roll in the evening after a long day. I planned on watching TV and relaxing, but this strain made me feel so energized, that I started making notes and outlining this review. I felt like nothing existed but the task at hand, and everything was enjoyable.
Product price: $20.79
I recommend Clementine to anyone looking for a sativa that is good for productivity.
I also recommend that users smoke Dogwalkers as-is, rather than taking the joint apart. Every part of this joint is top-notch, including the paper and filter. It burns more evenly than most pre-rolled joints, and the extra-fine ground cannabis makes it messy to re-roll.
GTI Dogwalkers are more expensive than other brands of pre-rolls, but they are a great product. They also come in a very cool glass case that I have been using for joints I rolled myself.
I am a big fan of the Clementine strain. If I knew how pleasant it was, I would have picked up an eighth of it.

Since online ordering is now mandatory for recreational customers, I used their website to place my order before this trip to Sunnyside. To use this, customers must make an account with their name and email address (or phone number). At 10am, the ordering window opens, and customers can add items to their cart and submit their order.
I wanted to go on Thursday, so I logged on right at 10, and by the time I had added the four items to my cart, the submission button was inactive. So on Friday, I logged on at 10, ready to submit the items I had in my cart. I didn’t receive a confirmation, but at noon, I got a text saying my order was ready.
When I got to Sunnyside, I showed my confirmation number to the security guard, and got in line behind about 25 people. Other customers told me they encountered both of these problems, as well.
Right now, they are only admitting three people in the dispensary at a time, along with three in the waiting room. It took a long time for me to get inside. There were two security guards inside the waiting room, and four budtenders behind the counter in the dispensary.
I expected the orders to be packaged and ready to pick up, but when I was at the counter, the budtender printed out my order, and then pulled everything from the lockers behind him. He told me that they were out of one of my items, and I chose one that he recommended to me based on THC percentage.
Although Sunnyside is still open and servicing recreational and medical customers, the online ordering platform did little to speed up the experience.
