During this trip, I purchased Sour Cherry Gummies by GTI Incredibles. The Incredibles gummy line has a variety of flavors including sour apple, watermelon and peach, among others. Flavors labeled as sour contain a packet of sour-tasting powder that you can sprinkle on the gummies. Each gummy contains 10mg of THC from a hybrid blend, and there are 10 pieces per container.

Appearance  4/5
The Incredibles gummies come inside a plastic canister, with a push-down-and-twist lid. The label on the front lets you know the dosage per piece, and a label on the back gives you handy information, like the fact that the gummies are gluten-free, and the effects should last between 2 and 4 hours.

Inside, I found 10 identical red gummies. Each was molded into a shape similar to Dots candy. The gummies have a nice appearance, with a vivid red coloring, and the GTI logo stamped into the top.

Inside the container, there’s also a packet labeled “sour.”

This, of course, contains the sour powder that you can open up, and apply to the gummies yourself. At first, I found this a bit strange, as I’m used to sour candies having this powder on them from the get-go, but I suppose this allows the user to control how sour they want each piece to taste, or they can choose to eat them without it whatsoever.

Aroma  4/5
There wasn’t too strong of an aroma with these gummies. Sniffing them, I picked up a generally sweet scent, and somewhat of an artificial cherry aroma, but it wasn’t all that strong. I couldn’t detect any cannabis scent, to be honest.

Taste  4/5
For my first time taking an Incredible, I added some sour powder to the piece. I’m not the kind of person who goes out of their way to try sour flavors, but I do like sour things. The powder stuck surprisingly well to the gummy. I chewed half the piece first to get the texture. The gummy is pretty dense, and looks solid when you bite into it — no air pockets here.

The flavor was good, despite not being unique. It reminded me of a Sour Patch Kid, but less intense. The second time I tried a piece without sour flavor, and it tasted a lot like Swedish Fish. I could taste the cannabis flavor, though it really blended in with the fruity notes very well. That’s probably a good thing for those who want an edible that doesn’t taste too strongly of cannabis.

Effect  5/5

I took a single 10mg dose of the Incredible gummy for my first and second experiences. Both times, the high seemed to set in rather quickly. I could feel some light effects around 20 minutes. This led to a gradual, but steady, build up. I think it’s worth noting how quickly these can take effect — you may want to plan accordingly!

After about an hour, the effects began to kick in fully.

I noticed my spirits really start to rise, and a rush of ideas filled my brain. It was the kind of high that, if you’re watching something on TV with someone, you have to keep pausing the show to share some funny thought you had, that may or may not be related to the show.

There was also a mild body sensation, and the subtle soreness I was feeling from earlier in the day was no longer on my mind. Primarily though, I felt more of a head high. For me, the effects lasted about four hours before they started to fade nicely, leading me into a great night’s sleep.

I’d definitely recommend GTI Incredibles Sour Cherry Gummies to any user.

For extreme physical aches and pains, I might recommend taking two pieces for a 20mg dose. That said, on a single standard dose, the euphoric creativity you get is really pleasant. The highness comes on quickly, and lasts for some time. Dosing less than 10mg isn’t too hard with these, as they’re firm and easy to cut through evenly.

These Incredibles live up to their name, and may become a new favorite for me.

As noted, the flavor is solid, if not the best-tasting candy I’ve ever had, and the option to add sweetness or not is a nice touch. These gummies are also made in a wide array of flavors, so you’re bound to find something you like within the Incredibles lineup.

The high is the real deal — it’s a fun series of effects, that still keeps you clear-headed enough to hang out with friends, or watch a show. You may not want to watch a complex movie with an intricate plot, however, but beyond that, you’ll have a good time.

Nature’s Care is a medical and recreational dispensary, located in Rolling Meadows. Nestled in an industrial area on Rohlwing Road, directly across from the huge Harvest Bible Chapel, it’s sort of easy to miss, unless you catch the sign that shows a bountiful harvest of plants around the logo.

Once buzzed in, you’ll walk into a small room, where an attendant behind a glass wall will request an ID and a medical card (if you’re a patient). From there, you’re let into the waiting room, with plenty of seating and magazines to read if you have to wait.

When they’re ready for you, you may then enter the main sales floor. This area is bright and really fragrant with cannabis. The chilled-out music they play in the room enhances the feeling, and it puts me in a great mood every time I visit. Pick your lane (medical or recreational/pre-order or in-store), and you’ll be called when they’re ready for you.

The sales staff at Nature’s Care is extremely friendly and helpful. They also help create a relaxed, positive environment, with how they greet customers, and thoughtfully answer any questions they may have.

Checkout is straightforward and simple — They now take cash or debit for payment. There is a fee for paying with a card, and it’s equivalent to the $3 charge you’d get if using their on-site ATM. Your products are always discreetly packaged in a white paper bag, and then you’re on your way!
