Equipment

  • Large pot with lid
  • Mixing bowl
  • Small saucepan
  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/4 cup cannabis-infused butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • nutritional yeast, garlic powder, paprika, or grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Heat the coconut oil or vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  • Add 2-3 popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with a lid. Once these kernels pop, the oil is hot enough.
  • Add the remaining popcorn kernels to the pot and cover. Shake the pot occasionally to ensure even popping.
  • Once the popping slows to about 2-3 seconds between pops, remove the pot from heat.
  • While the popcorn is popping, melt the cannabis-infused butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Once melted, pour the butter over the popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl. Toss to coat the popcorn evenly.
  • Add salt to taste and any additional seasonings you prefer, such as nutritional yeast, garlic powder, paprika, or grated Parmesan.
  • Toss the popcorn again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  • Transfer the seasoned, cannabis-infused popcorn to a serving bowl and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of cannabis-infused butter based on your tolerance and desired potency.
  • Store any leftover popcorn in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
  • Experiment with different seasonings to find your perfect flavor combination.
