Revolution Enterprises is a brand focused on advancing cannabis science through research and development. Through novel extraction methods, they are able to produce cannabis products with the highest levels of potency and purity.
Revolution’s Gorilla Chew Fruit Goobies are designed to deliver more than 80mg of cannabinoids in a single candy. These high potency edibles are infused with sativa CO2 distillate.
Appearance 4/5
The Fruit Goobie Gorilla Chew is a chewy candy that is 3” long and about 1⁄2” in diameter. Surprisingly, the sour apple goobie is more orange than the typical yellow-green associated with the flavor. The candy is very soft, and sticks to the clear cellophane when it is unwrapped. After an hour in the the fridge, the color lightened up to a mild yellow, and the texture became more taffy-like, as opposed to goo.
Aroma 3/5
This product smells more like general sweetness than anything else, which makes sense, since its first two ingredients are cane sugar and corn syrup.
There are hints of a tart green apple smell, similar to those caramel apple lollipops. Even though this product tastes strongly of cannabis, the smell of the cannabis distillate is hardly noticeable.
Taste 2/5
This undeniably tastes like cannabis. It also tastes like artificial green apple flavoring, but not as much as it tastes like actual cannabis.
The flavor reminds me of a room where someone just hotboxed, then sprayed a bunch of Febreeze to cover it up, only to have the fruitiness enhance the smell of weed.
However, this candy is about seven times more dense per square inch than the gummies I reviewed this week, so the taste of cannabis is to be expected. I believe the taste of Revolution’s Mango Fruit Goobies (or Fudgies) would be better, since I imagine those flavors would clash less than the green apple present in this edible.
Effect 5/5
The point of the Fruit Goobie Gorilla Chew is not to taste like it came from an artisan confectioner; the point is to get you high. Really high. And at that, it is extremely efficient.
I ate the candy after a full meal. I let some of it dissolve in my mouth, and I felt the effects immediately. I kept feeling increasingly high for the next hour. The candy made me feel incredibly relaxed, and incapable of doing anything productive. All in all, the high lasted for about 5 hours.
Product price: $24 for 80mg chew
I’d recommend these edibles to experienced cannabis users looking to get very high.
Since they contain as much THC as many bags of gummies, or whole chocolate bars, they are good for people who have a high tolerance, and are looking to enjoy edibles, without the bulk of all that candy.
Even though this is advertised as using sativa distillate, I wouldn’t recommend this product for those days when there are things you have to get accomplished.
Overall, this product met all of my expectations. It is a high potency edible with an adequately pleasant flavor that provides a great high. It is good for people who are looking to get high, without consuming large amounts of candy.

Located on the corner of N. Clark Street and W Argyle Street, in the heart of Andersonville, Dispensary33 fits right in with the brunch restaurants, comic book stores, and resale boutiques of the neighborhood. It’s a typical storefront with black awnings. The windows are covered with paper affixed with their logo in their signature vibrant mint green color scheme.
The reception area looks like it belongs to a plastic surgeon, with pristine white walls and high ceilings. Light shines in the windows through the white paper, and onto an employee behind a Mac desktop and beautiful wooden desk. In the back, there is a frosted glass panel covered with post-it notes everywhere except in the shape of two “3”s. There are six chairs lining the walls on each side of the room, as well.
The actual dispensary is quite large, with real wood floors and cream colored walls. Some products are displayed in glass cases that are set inside the walls, and are lit beautifully from the top. Others are inside the glass tops of wooden tables. The vapes are displayed inside a glass panel on top of the counter where they process payments.
On some of the walls, there are gorgeous black and green botanical drawings of cannabis plants. On the wall where the flower is displayed, there is a floor-to-ceiling drawing of a cannabis plant, from the base stem to the top, in its blooming stage. Behind the counter with the vapes, there are several drawings of the different stages of a plant, from a sprouting seed to a detailed bud.
The environment of Dispensary33 is soothing and artistic. There is room to browse, and the staff takes customers orders on iPads, while walking around the room with you, rather than standing behind a counter. Dispensary33 has also worked hard to keep up with the demand for recreational customers. They have a large selection of products, and they make the store a pleasant place to visit.
