During this trip, I picked up Sweet Indica gummies, produced by Ozone. These gummies come in a 10-pack, with each piece containing 10 mg of THC. These gummies do not contain any CBD. The exact strain is not specified, other than that it is of an Indica variety.

Appearance  4/5
Ozone did a great job of designing the packaging and overall vibe for these gummies. The 10 gummies come in a small glass jar with a big plastic lid, and the Ozone logo is stamped in gold on the label. It really looks like a high-end product, and got me excited to try these gummies out.

The gummies themselves could look a little better though, to be honest. They’re just small cylinder pieces with sugar coating them. When I opened the lid, many of them were clumped together, and most of them were purple, so I didn’t get a good variety from the pack.

Aroma  3/5
There’s not much of a smell upon opening the lid on these Ozone gummies beyond sweet. You do get a bit of cannabis scent, but mostly, it smells like opening up a confectioner’s treat. I didn’t really get any weed scent by just sniffing.

Taste  3/5
I think that, upon first looking at these gummies, I expected them to taste sour. The sugar sprinkles and worm-ish shape tricked my brain into thinking I had purchased infused sour gummy worms. That was my bad — as “sweet” is in the name, after all! Instead, these gummies reminded me more of Peeps — their sugary coating and soft, chewy texture was very similar.

The first piece I tried was a purple one. This flavor didn’t taste like any particular fruit, and the closest thing I could compare it to was like when you eat an entire pack of Smarties at once (I can’t be the only one who’s done that!). The other orange and yellow pieces I tried later evoked the fruit flavors you might expect — orange and lemon. There was also a tinge of cannabis flavor in each piece, but it wasn’t too strong. Overall, these tasted fine, but were nothing special.

Effect  4/5
I’ve been enjoying Indica dominant edibles lately, which is why I opted for these gummies. About 45 minutes after taking my first 10mg piece, I began to feel really calm and relaxed. I had been having a rather stressful week, so this was a welcome relief. A little after an hour in, the relaxation increased, and I began to feel the body high, as my muscles relaxed and I melted into my seat. It was great!

On other occasions with the 10mg dose, I was still up for a more active experience, including going on a long walk or doing housework. It wasn’t such a strong high that I felt like I couldn’t function. Rather, it was more that I was content in doing whatever I was doing at the time. So, if I was relaxing watching TV, I would stay there, and if I was on a long walk, I felt happy going further.

Mentally, I felt positive and mildly euphoric but didn’t have the same flood of ideas that typically comes from sativas. Rather, I was just mellow, centered, and content, which is not a bad feeling at all!

Product price: $26

I would recommend Ozone Sweet Indica gummies to anyone seeking a bit of mental and emotional relief, especially right now. These should help get you into a relaxed state, without triggering worry or paranoia. The physical sensations could also be helpful to patients feeling aches and pains, as well. They’re also easy to cut in half, if you’d rather take a 5 mg dose.

I liked the effect Ozone Sweet Indica gummies had on me. It was a relaxing, soothing high perfect for winding down at night. However, given their premium look, I felt that the taste left something to be desired. That being said, I don’t really purchase edibles for the taste, so that’s not too much of a knock for me. Give these gummies a try if you’re looking for a chill night or just a way to unwind for a few hours.

A combination of medical and recreational marijuana dispensary, Nature’s Care is located in the northwestern suburb of Rolling Meadows. It’s nestled in an industrial area of the town but is easy to spot, via its big sign. It’s also easy to access, whether by Northwest Highway, I-90, or Route 53, all major roads.

Nature’s Care was designated an essential business by the governor of Illinois. Because of this, the dispensary has been able to remain open and continue to serve medical patients, as well as recreational customers across the area. They’ve done a great job of maintaining a safe, sanitary, and responsible environment for their customers, by taking measures like starting curbside pickup for medical patients, kindly maintaining social distance in their lines, and adding glass guards across their entire sales counter to help prevent the spread of germs.

I know that I feel safe when visiting Nature’s Care. Because I am able to pre-order products on the online Jane sales platform, I spend minimal time in the store. The curbside pickup option is open to me, and even when I enter the store, I’ve felt safe. The staff will ask you to wash your hands in their restroom before entering, and I’ve observed staff members clearing surfaces and other common areas multiple times during recent visits.

If you’re in the area, I would highly recommend a visit to Nature’s Care. They take their essential business designation seriously and offer a safe and friendly experience to all of their guests.
