Avexia produces medicinal cannabis products formulated from sustainably sourced ingredients. Their tablet product line features micro-dosing tablets, some including CBD, that provide a discreet way to relieve stress, anxiety, and pain. The Ascend Tablets feature a hybrid strain, and each tablet contains 2.5mg THC, without any CBD.
Appearance 4/5
Avexia Comfort Tablets come in a nondescript pill bottle. It has a medicinal, almost sterile look. The bottle is small enough that it can easily be taken with you “on-the-go.” The label contains information about ingredients, but no information regarding suggested dosage. Each tablet is small, round, and yellow, with no distinct markings.
Aroma 5/5
I notice the smell of cannabis as soon as I take the lid off the bottle. The smell is very subtle and spicy, but not overpowering. Overall, I find the aroma to be very pleasant. The tablets don’t smell too strong individually when they are taken out of the bottle— the scent is pretty much concentrated inside the bottle.
Taste 4/5
Avexia tablets are meant to be chewed, and Avexia Comfort has a taste that is a balance between a cannabis and light fruity flavor. The texture is gritty, and gave me the feeling that I was eating a chewable vitamin. After swallowing the tablets, there doesn’t seem to be much of a lingering aftertaste.
Effect 4/5
There are no directions on the package, so I had to guess what amount would help me sleep. I took eight tablets, the equivalent of 10mg THC, and 20mg CBD. Around an hour and a half after ingestion, I began to feel slight relaxation spread slowly throughout my body, followed by a strong desire to just shut my eyes and go to sleep.
Product price: $35 for 40 x 2.5 mg tablets
I was satisfied with the Avexia Comfort Tablets.
They were true to their name, as they helped me relax before bed, and I was able to get a restful night’s sleep. I would recommend this to any user who wants a relaxing way to get some much-needed rest.
The low amount of THC helps relax the body, while the high dosage of CBD helps the brain mellow out and induce sleep. I would recommend taking this about an hour (or two) before heading off to bed. This product would be great for any user who suffers from sleep disturbances, or anxiety.
My experience with Avexia Comfort Tablets was very good.
Shopping at the dispensary was pleasant, and I was especially impressed with the individual service the staff members at NuMed provide. While not offering a mind-blowing high, the tablets gave me a relaxing way to wind down from the day, and settle into bed. I’m a fan of Avexia’s microdosing concept, and am excited to see how their product line can expand.

NuMed is a dispensary focused on providing high-quality medicinal cannabis.
Despite high demand throughout the Chicago area, NuMed’s menu is fairly wide-ranging, and I have been assured that their range of products will expand even more in the near future. Currently, NuMed is open every day for medical patients, and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for adult-use sales.
During this visit, a staff member took the time to explain what goes into getting a medical card. She was willing to answer all questions I had regarding the process, cost, and subsequent benefits. I really appreciated the individual attention this staff member gave me.
