As I take the pen out of its packaging, I notice that this is a weightier, more substantial pen when compared to Joos’ competitors. The mouthpiece is made of a rose gold metal. The bottom of the pen features a light-up indicator, with Nature’s Grace logo, that tells the user when the pen is in use. The oil is a nice, warm amber color, and the chamber is completely full, which is always a good sign. Overall, this definitely presents itself as a high-quality product.

Aroma 5/5
As I took a hit, I enjoyed the pleasing aroma of the vapor produced by the Northern Lights Disposable. It’s mostly a light and sweet smell, with a little bit of spice. It’s interesting that Joos is able to create a product that’s so potent in effect, but light in aroma/flavor. This product would be ideal for stealth vaping – the aroma from the vapor is so light, and the pen doesn’t produce any odor when not in use.

I was so impressed by the taste of this vape. I took a few hits and what struck me most is how light and fresh this vapor is. The vapor produced by this pen gives me a very pleasant aftertaste, leaving my mouth feeling fresh and clean after every exhale.

Effect 5/5
I took about seven solid hits from the pen and felt the effects slowly spread through my body and mind. Strong feelings of relaxation and calm started rolling in. I felt a great sense of contentment, the simple enjoyment of where I was at the moment. 

I used this pen about an hour or two before bed, and it was perfect for slowly shutting off any stressors, and easing my head into relaxation. This pen gave me a nice, sleepy high, perfect for nighttime. 

Overall, the heavy calming effects, combined with a pleasant boost in mood, left me feeling perfectly content and relaxed, as I headed for bed.

As far as vapes go, Joos’ Northern Lights gets top marks. I would recommend this for nighttime use only – the sedating effects are more conducive for use before bedtime than during the day. 

I would highly recommend this pen to users who are looking for relief from stress, anxiety, sleep disturbances, or pain. It’s a great product for both new and experienced users, as the flavor is so mellow, and the effects are potent but calming.

Things have definitely changed around the dispensary, but all changes have been put in place in order to protect the health and safety of customers and staff. Six-foot markers have been designated, both inside and outside the dispensary. Protective plastic shields have been added to each budtender station. NuMed also matches the number of customers inside the dispensary to the number of budtenders on duty, reducing the number of people that are in the shop at a given time. Just as encouraging as it is to see these changes, it’s good to see that customers gladly comply with the regulations.
