Joos Skywalker Disposable Pen 300mg

A cross between Blueberry and Mazar I Sharif strains, Skywalker is a legendary Indica that is known for its sedative effects, relaxing the body and mind at the same time. It is a strain that is prized especially by med patients who deal with pain and sleep disturbances.

The Joos Skywalker Disposable contains 300mg of cannabis distillate. Each pen in the Joos brand features a rechargeable battery – simply unscrew and plug in a power source (takes an Android adapter). Skywalker contains 82.39% THC with .45% THCA and 2.51% CBD.

Joos has understated packaging, but the pen looks like a quality vape, and its weightiness also adds to its impressive appearance. I appreciate that Joos pens allow the user to recharge the battery, allowing the heating element to remain strong and properly heat the oil inside the chamber. There is only a tiny amount of headspace in the chamber, which holds the copper-colored Skywalker distillate.

Aroma 4/5
Unlike most of the other pens in the Joos line, Skywalker doesn’t have a noticeable scent when I open the package. I only get a hint of an earthy cannabis smell, with slight notes of licorice. Even after exhale, the aroma is super light, almost like it’s not even there, making this a great candidate for stealth-vaping.

Taste 4/5
This is a super smooth vape, it’s almost unnoticeable as it goes in my lungs. On the exhale, I get a little bit of a black licorice flavor, no cannabis funk and nothing harsh. I can take big, deep hits of this and not feel irritated at all. Some users might prefer a heavier taste, but the lightness was a nice change for me.

Effect 2/5
I’m someone who appreciates an Indica over Hybrid (or Sativa) strains, but this missed the mark for me. I didn’t feel much of an effect at all, it took about five hits to feel anything, and at that point it just made me feel drowsy. After several days of use, in the evenings and around bedtime, it seems like this is just good to knock me out before bed, which isn’t the worst thing, but it doesn’t make the effects of this pen very memorable.

Based on the effects of this pen, I don’t think I would recommend this product to users who are looking to try a new vape. I would, however, recommend several other products in the Joos line – there are so many strains to choose from, and so many of them have already proven to be effective and a good bang for the buck. This might end up being a user’s favorite product, but for me, it only made me tired, and it kind of just fell flat.

While this product isn’t my favorite in the Joos line, I’ll definitely check their products out again. They’ve been able to impress me in the past, and it’s interesting to get a feel for the nuances in flavor and effect that each strain has to offer.
