Maybe it’s just me, but my personal relationship with milk has been, well, “rocky,” to say the very least.I remember, as a kid, I couldn’t think of a more pleasurable endeavor, then diving headfirst into a sleeve of Oreos, and subsequently, dipping each darkened, black and white morsel into a chilled, tall glass of milk. Honestly, even the recollection makes my mouth water. But that wasn’t the only time milk played a pivotal role in the culinary stages of my young life.
While I’d often opt for a nice, cold glass of milk back in those days, I was always perplexed by how they chose to serve up milk alongside pizza during the first act of one of the best movies of all time, Home Alone. I understand (now) that this beverage choice was made simply out of necessity, as they were about to be out of town for quite some time, rendering this previously purchased milk unused and spoiled in their absence. I get that. But, still…gross.Anyway, that cinematic memory aside, it wasn’t until high school that things started to really change for me, milk-wise, that is. Those late night bowls of cereal that I’d indulge in were not only leaving me with a hearty case of “bubble guts,” but they weren’t exactly being super kind to my waistline, either. That once enriching, refreshing bovine elixir was becoming a sworn enemy in every way, shape, and form. Well, needless to say, it wasn’t long before I scraped this entire beverage from my life altogether, and I didn’t really look back, to be quite honest.SEE ALSO: How To Make A Killer Batch Of Cannabis Rice Krispie Treats
That is, until I was out of college, high out of my mind, and yearning for a classic bowl of cereal. But, given my previous experience with this weight-gaining, bowel-disrupting drink, I decided it was time to do some research into just what other kinds of beverages are out there, that could serve as a quality stand-in for my once-beloved milk. Enter: Almond Milk. Not only is this sucker dairy-free, but it's packing far fewer calories than your run-of-the-mill concoction. It was the saving grace that I didn’t know I needed in my life. Since it’s found its way back into my daily routine, I’ve been able to enjoy all sorts of stuff that I had sworn off, due to their dairy-related ingredients. But now, with this delicious almond substitute, everything that was once shunned away for its abundance of cow-inspired greatness, is now back on the table.
And I couldn’t have been happier about it. That is, until I realized I could make my own batch of it at home. More than that, my almond milk would not only be delicious, but it would dank, too. That’s right, party people, I’m about to teach you how to make Cannabis Almond Milk! However, before we get right into the thick of things, you’ll need to either, raid your pantry, or hit up your local grocery store for the following list of essential ingredients needed in order to properly pull off this recipe for Cannabis Almond Milk. But I promise you, this is all you will need to successfully whip up a batch of potent Cannabis Almond Milk.Once you’ve gotten a hold of those ingredients, you can then get started on this phenomenal recipe.

Instructions
- Speaking of, to kick things off, you’ll want to grab your handy-dandy food processor. In that, you’ll want to expertly blend together your water and your almonds. Keep processing those two ingredients together, until the contents start to take on a very milky consistency and appearance.
- At which point, you will then reach for your strainer. Utilizing the sifting powers of the strainer, sift out that milk into a saucepan. If you don’t have a strainer, the implementation of cheesecloth should suffice as a moderate replacement.
- Whatever straining medium you choose to go with, once that milk is in the saucepan, you will then want to bring it to a full boil. When it hits that desired boiling point, you may then add in your finely ground-up cannabis, and as you do that, be sure to lower the heat to a “Low-To-Medium” setting.
- Then, you’ll want to make sure to stir up these ingredients consistently, as they simmer with one another for roughly 45 minutes or so.
- After that time period has elapsed, you can remove that saucepan full of newly-infused almond milk from the heat source, and again, through a strainer (or cheesecloth), sift out the floral components of the mixture, into a storage container of your choosing.
- And boom – that’s how you make Cannabis Almond Milk!
