Enhance Your Dessert With This Chocolate Cannabis Wine Sauce

Personally, whenever I am trying to impress a significant other, I like to do it with a homemade dessert. Sure, the dinner we eat beforehand is likely homemade, as well, but those meals never even come close to comparing to a decadent, incredibly elegant dessert. And, if you’re looking to impress a loved one in a similar way, I strongly suggest you give this Chocolate Cannabis Wine Sauce a shot.
The recipe for this Chocolate Cannabis Wine Sauce couldn’t be easier. In well under 20 minutes, you’ll have a fully-infused dessert topping, that’ll not only enhance the sophistication of whatever dessert is lucky enough to rest below it, but it’ll infuse each bite, leaving you and your significant other happy, mellow, and beyond stoned.

No, this won’t be a heavily sedative edible, or one that’ll elicit “couch lock.” Instead, it’ll spark conversation, boost confidence, and increase the overall optimism in the room. This is truly one of those “feel good” edible recipes that I simply cannot get enough of, and I’m confident you’ll be feeling the same way after only one batch.
Now, if you’re anything like me, when you hear the phrase “Wine Sauce,” you probably assume that the lengthy list of ingredients required to pull this off kind of recipe would be a mile-long. Well, that just simply isn’t the case. In fact, the contrary is true, as you will only need a handful of very affordable ingredients in order to adequately nail this classy cannabis dessert topping.

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Cup

Ingredients

  • 6-10 Droppers of THC or CBD Tincture
  • 3 Tablespoons of Coconut Sugar
  • 6 Ounces of Dark Chocolate
  • 2 ¼ Cups of Red Wine

Instructions

  • For this remarkably easy recipe, you will first want to start by heating up your wine in a saucepan placed over “High” heat.
  • Keep it in this state, until the wine is reduced to roughly 1 ½ cups. Which, in my experience, doesn’t take longer than 5 minutes or so.
  • When that happens, mix your desired amount of cannabis tincture, coconut sugar, and chocolate into your reduced wine. Continue to stir and cook these elements together, until the contents develop a shiny, smooth, almost glossy appearance.
  • That typically takes another 5 minutes.

Notes

And, guess what, people? That’s it.
That’s how you make Chocolate Cannabis Wine Sauce that you can feel free to drizzle atop any dessert you wish for a flavorful, sophisticated pop of flavor (and potency).
I find that this is best slathered over a hearty slice of carrot cake, but a typical batch of brownies, or even a scoop (or two) of generic ice cream work just as well. There really is no wrong way to apply this infused dessert topping. So, go with your gut, and I’m sure you’ll be more than happy with the results.
Seeing as how this is a sauce, the application of an exact amount can be a bit tricky. More often than not, a decent amount of this cannabis dessert topping will land joyously atop a post-dinner dish of your choosing. Which is completely fine, so long as you don’t overdo it.
Don’t aim to drown a dessert in this dank sauce, as doing so will likely result in one of those classic “too high” moments. If this happens, don’t fret, everything will be fine. Your body is just trying to readjust in the midst of this sudden influx of THC that has recently entered its system.
At this point, it’s smart to find a quiet place to lay down for a while. Just take it easy, sip some water, focus on your breathing, and you’ll regain composure in no time at all.
But, if you’d rather avoid any such occurrence, I’d suggest partaking in a small portion to start out. Let it kick in, see how you feel, and go from there.
