Anyway, enough jibber-jabber, here’s a list of the ingredients that you’ll need for these Chocolate Cannabis Martinis:

Equipment

  • Cocktail Mixer
  • Droplet
Valentine’s Day is all about decadence.
There’s a certain air of sophistication and elegance surrounding this special lover’s holiday in February. Everything just seems a bit sweeter on this day, doesn’t it? It’s probably because of all the chocolate being consumed, to be honest. I mean, I don’t even think you can legally celebrate Valentine’s Day without a hearty helping of sweet, sweet chocolate.
But, it’s more than that. It’s about getting together with the one you love, and showing them how much you appreciate having them in your life. How they’ve changed you for the better, how they’ve made every day that much more enjoyable simply with their smile.
You know, adorably cute phrases like that.

Also, while sweet nothings are all well and good, as we all know, actions speak much louder than words. So, while it’s perfectly nice to hear how much someone appreciates you, it’s even more enjoyable to see their love and devotion through gestures and gifts. I mean, that’s been a holiday tradition since day one, and I doubt it’s going to change anytime soon.
On this fateful annual celebration of love, couples often flood restaurants, in hopes of enjoying the most romantic dining experience possible. And for the most part, they do. However, things can get a bit crowded on days like Valentine’s Day. Plus, there’s not a whole lot of intimate conversations to be had, as you are, essentially, in a tightly packed room full of strangers.
That’s why I always think it’s best to spend this beloved holiday at home with your significant other. But don’t just treat it like any other night-in, take the time, and put in the effort to create a truly magical night for them to enjoy. One that they won’t soon forget.
That sort of goal is most commonly accomplished through a series of heartfelt gestures.

Perhaps, you could spring for a dozen roses to be waiting for them when they come over. You could even spend a few bucks on a couple scented candles and incense to help set the mood. And don’t forget to have some super smooth, sultry tunes playing in the background. Tonight, it’s all about the two of you, and anything that enhances a night of personal conversation and love, is exactly what you need.
Now, of course, you should plan on cooking them an amazing meal to round out the evening. That’s just a given, right? But, before you roll up your sleeves, toss your apron on, and head into the kitchen like the amazing partner that you are – why not mellow out over a couple drinks first?
This liquid introduction into the night’s festivities is nice, because it helps everybody relax after a long day, and ready their minds and bodies to chill-out with their loved one. That’s probably why going out for “dinner and drinks” is such a popular activity to enjoy, either while dating or in a long-term marriage. It’s still just as fun, regardless of how long you two have been together.
But you know what’s just as fun as grabbing dinner and drinks with your loved one? Getting high with your loved one.

Now, what if I told you there was a way to accomplish both of those activities at the exact same time? Not only that, but it could be done in a sweet, chocolatey fashion, that would be ideally enjoyed on a day like Valentine’s Day?
Sounds pretty dang perfect, right?
Well, you’re in luck, my fellow romance enthusiasts, because that’s precisely what I’m here to teach you today. While there are a lot of libations that can be enjoyed on this wonderful holiday, I don’t think any of them even come close to the overall enjoyability brought forth by a couple Chocolate Cannabis Martinis.
However, before we make this cannabis cocktail, we’re going to need to do some shopping at the local dispensary first. There, you’ll want to get your hands on some THC tincture, as well as a cannabis-infused chocolate of some kind – preferably one that has segmented doses that break off rather easily.
Once you return home with those aforementioned goodies, you can then proceed to make one of the most enjoyable drinks of all time, the Chocolate Cannabis Martini.

Now, in order for this drink recipe to work, you’ll likely have to hit up your neighborhood liquor store or supermarket, too, because it does call for some rather specific alcoholic ingredients. But don’t worry, they’re not so rare that the typical storefront wouldn’t carry them. They are fairly easy to find, to be quite honest.
Now, if you don’t have any chocolate liqueur, or don’t feel like buying a whole new bottle just for this recipe, you can split the difference by grabbing some chocolate vodka. However, I think the best results call for the above ingredients. But, at the end of the day, it’s completely your call. Go with your gut, as they say. And now, for the most simple recipe in history…

Instructions

  • Fill your cocktail mixer ¾ of the way with ice. Then, pour in your chocolate liqueur, followed by your vodka. At this point, you’ll want to add in your droplet of THC tincture.
  • If you find yourself to have a higher tolerance, requiring a higher dose, then go ahead, and put in as many drops as you think you may need. However, I strongly urge everyone to start low and slow, as it is always easy to get “higher” if you need to, with another dose later on.
  • Over consuming too much THC in this fashion could lead to a series of unwanted effects, which would make the average consumer a bit uncomfortable. And, on a night like Valentine’s Day, the last thing you want to feel is “uncomfortable.” So, if you go with the direct recipe, it will result in a truly euphoric series of calming, anxiety-reducing effects, I assure you.
  • However many drops you decide to go with, once it’s in there, secure the top to your cocktail mixer, and shake that sucker up good. Make sure to evenly distribute all of the flavors (and potency) inside. Then, when you’ve adequately shaken up the contents, pour out the newly-infused liquid into chilled martini glasses.
  • But that’s not all!
  • Before you serve it to your significant other, add in a sprinkling of that broken-down cannabis-infused chocolate. You should aim to add roughly a half dose of chocolate to each drink.
  • And that’s it, love birds. That’s how you make a killer batch of Chocolate Cannabis Martinis!

Notes

Not too hard, right? I told you.
Take it from me, my wife and I love knocking back a couple of these Chocolate Cannabis Martinis before dinner. Hell, we love ‘em so much, we’ve been making them year-round. They instantly became one of our favorite cannabis-infused drinks, and we’re sure they’ll become one of yours, too.
Happy Valentine’s Day, my fellow cannabis enthusiasts.
