Bio Jesus is a child of Gumbo and the popular pain-relieving strain, Bio-Diesel. It is known for its numbing and sedating effects, and like its parent, is commonly used to treat pain relief.
Cresco’s Liquid Live Resin carts contain 500ml of high-terpene cannabis oil that aims to capture the flavor and complexity of the flower from which it is derived.
Appearance 5/5
The 500ml LLR cart is about two inches tall from the base to the top of the mouthpiece. Rather than having a tapered mouthpiece, like many of the vape products I have seen from dispensaries, this cart has a round glass mouthpiece. The cart has the word Rest printed in Cresco’s signature “Indica blue” on one side, with the brand name printed on the other.
It was packaged in a small box (approx. 4” x 2” x 1”), which is good for storing the cart upright when it is not attached to the battery.
Aroma 2/5
When I exhale a cloud of Bio Jesus vapor into my apartment, the whole room smells like stale gasoline. The aroma is by far the biggest complaint I have about this product, and given that the Green Line OG Liquid Live Resin cart did not leave the same unpleasant scent, I assume this is a characteristic of Bio Jesus, not Cresco Liquid Live Resin Carts. Unpleasant as it is, it fades completely in about a minute and isn’t bad enough to deter me from using this product every night.
Taste 3/5
While the taste of this product didn’t blow me away, it was adequately pleasant. It tastes strongly of blackberry and grape, with hints of lemon and pepper undertones. Although it has a predominate berry flavor, it is not sweet. The taste of this product is rich and earthy.
The problem is after each hit. I exhaled, and this product left a strong chemical taste in my mouth. I think this is related to the chemical aroma left by this product because the taste of the other Cresco LLR cart I tried was purer.
Effect 4/5
The Bio Jesus LLR Cart made me feel relaxed and drowsy. My muscles felt soft and numb but in a good way. It brought me into a state of total physical and mental relaxation. This strain is so sedating, I had to be careful with it.
It made me particularly disoriented and forgetful. I’ve been using this product to treat insomnia, so I don’t take it out until an hour or two before I’m ready to go to sleep. Still, some mornings after vaping Bio Jesus, I woke up with a strange, lingering disorientation.
Product price: $66.54
As a heavy, potent indica, Bio Jesus is recommended for nighttime use. For people, like me, who use cannabis to treat insomnia, Bio Jesus is one of the best options out there, and vaping is a convenient way to take a few hits before going to bed. It is also commonly used to treat pain.
Although this is a solid product, I didn’t enjoy it as much as the Cresco Green Line OG LLR cart. I know there are people who love Bio Jesus (the man at the dispensary next to me was asking for it specifically, in any form), but I was only satisfied, not impressed. I would like to try a Cresco LLR Indica cart of a different strain next time I visit the dispensary.

When I picked up this cart from Sunnyside Dispensary, the budtender forgot to give me (and charge me for) the Verano vape battery that I planned to use with the two carts I bought. Since going to Sunnyside is still something of an exercise in patience, I wanted to see if I could pick up the battery without placing another online order and waiting in line.
I called the store. I emailed the company. Then, when I didn’t hear back, I wrote about it in the dispensary review of the Green Line OG Liquid Live Resin Cart.
That was last week, and I’m over it. I was trying to make the carts work with my old Ooze battery until one of them got clogged. So I went back to buy the battery. Anyway, it’s an excuse to go back and get some edibles and pre-rolls.
When I got to the register, the budtender pulled my order together from the back. This time, it was already bagged. He went over each item and put them back in the bag. Then, he called a manager over and mumbled something to her. He looked confused. Then he told me to insert my card for a total of $10 less than the online order total. When I got home, I looked at my receipt. Sure enough, they comped the battery.
It didn’t even occur to me that they would have made a note of this problem in my customer profile. This was a wonderful and completely unexpected resolution to my problem, and I appreciate it very much. It has definitely elevated my opinion of Sunnyside Lakeview’s customer service.
