The Travelers line is purported to be Verano’s superior-quality disposable brand. The Pineapple Diesel pen contains 77.53% THC, as well as some balancing CBD, coming in at a little over 9%. Pineapple Diesel is known for its uplifting properties, as well as for providing great stress relief.

The exterior of the packaging looks modern and clean, with a black and white color scheme. Once I opened the plastic tube, though, I was not impressed by what I saw. Not only was there a big bubble in the chamber, but the pen also doesn’t have any markings on it at all. No branding. On top of this, the light-up indicator at the end of the pen didn’t look like anything I’d seen from the Verano brand. The pen itself looks like others in the Travelers line, and I’m certain this pen is legit, but it surely doesn’t look that way.

Aroma 5/5
This product has a nicely balanced scent that combines the sweet notes of the Pineapple strain that’s moderated by the pungent aroma of Sour Diesel. Unlike some of the other pens in the Travelers line, this one didn’t seem as strong upon first opening the package. This is a great pen for stealth vaping, as the aroma is pretty mellow and fruity, without being overpowering.

Taste 5/5
After getting a good feel for the aroma of the Pineapple Diesel pen, I felt that the product would produce a light and pleasant flavor. I wasn’t disappointed. The vapor is sweet and smooth, without any harshness at all. On exhaling, I definitely get the taste of pineapple and fresh fruit flavor, but the sweetness is moderated by a light earthy taste, as well. It gives a nice, lingering aftertaste.

I’m kind of on the fence regarding the effects of this strain. After taking about five deep hits from the pen, I immediately felt an improvement in my mood and overall thinking. I felt an increase in energy, too, but a decrease in my overall mental focus. I found it hard to concentrate on any one thing – it just felt like my mind was in a little too much of a haze. Two or three hits aren’t enough for me to feel much of anything, but a few more than that put my brain in a fog.

I would recommend this pen, and other pens in the Travelers brand, as a convenient and quick way to enjoy cannabis on the go. While the Pineapple Diesel strain may not be for me, I could imagine users who are looking for a mood-boosting Sativa would really enjoy this vape. For me, it’s something I’d use in the evening since I kind of felt that I lost focus after some hits.

Travelers’ Pineapple Diesel represents just one of the many great offerings that Sunnyside has for disposables. While this may not have been my favorite product in the Travelers line, I’m interested to see what else they have to offer. Since Sunnyside has a constantly changing stock of quality products like this one, I’ll be stopping back soon to find a strain that’s perfect for me.

While the store isn’t huge and demand for a product just seems to be increasing, Sunnyside is still able to ensure that social distancing guidelines are followed to ensure the safety of all guests who come to the store. Only a small number of guests are allowed inside at any one time, but the convenience of pre-ordering makes the wait very quick.
