The product features Cresco’s blue-grey color, which seems to be the company’s way to indicate between Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid strains. The vape pen is black, and features Cresco’s logo, as well as the blue-grey stripe, which indicates that this is an Indica product. The pen provides a white glow at the tip when in use. My only complaint with this product is that there is no clear chamber to see how much resin is left in the pen.

OG18 generally smells earthy with some citrus notes. I noticed the citrus aromas the most. It was a very agreeable smell that was moderately sweet. This pen produces smoke that won’t linger in the air. The smell is somewhat perfume-like, and won’t be offensive to others, if you’re enjoying this product indoors.

OG18 tasted great as a liquid resin. After trying OG18 as a flower, I was expecting this to be a little harsh. Instead, I was surprised that this was much smoother. I tasted slight notes of citrus, and was even surprised that this flavor was faintly reminiscent of licorice. To me, that’s the flavor that really lingers after each exhale. The flavor of this pen is super nice – I really enjoyed it.

I first tried this in the afternoon. I took 5 long hits from the pen, and began to feel the effects within a minute. I had an overall feeling of warmth, relaxation, along with a mild euphoria. I felt like my anxieties were floating away, but I didn’t feel overly tired. The pen also stimulated my appetite – I became extremely hungry. The effects lasted about two hours. I tried the pen again at night, and I had that same pleasant, relaxed feeling after a few hits. It got me ready for bed, and I was able to get a great night of sleep. I would classify the high from this pen as a functional, relaxing high.

Sunnyside was fairly busy on this trip, as they had recently stocked up on flower and pre-rolls. They had a wide variety of flower, pre-rolls, vapes, and edibles available. My budtender talked at length about the differences between enjoying OG18 as a flower versus enjoying it as a liquid live resin. She was very helpful, and provided great customer service. I’ll definitely return to this location based on the great customer service.
