Casseroles are uniquely American. While the flavors of the standard casserole are pleasing, the construction of the dish, itself, is rather ramshackle when you really think about it. It’s just a bunch of ingredients mushed together in a pan. Which, I suppose is a crude way to describe any meal, but I’ve longed for a new version of this belovedly lazy culinary creation for years, and I believe I’ve found it with this homemade Pot Pineapple Casserole recipe.

Mainly because you’ll be eating it after dinner, as opposed to partaking in it as the main course, itself. Which is the usual routine with most casseroles, but not this infused version. No, this dessert-inspired take on the classic dish is phenomenally different and delicious, and the mellow way the marijuana helps elevate the flavors (and experience, in general) to epic new heights, makes this a truly unbeatable dessert in every single way.

You don’t need a lick of culinary acumen or kitchen experience to absolutely nail this unique dish time after time. I promise. So, without any further ado, let’s take a look at your list of required ingredients, shall we?For this cannabis casserole, you’re going to need:

- For starters, you’ll want to preheat your oven to 350°.
- Next, in a mixing bowl, you’ll cream together your cannabis-infused butter and sugar.
- Upon completing that step, beat your eggs into the mixture. But, only do so one at a time. And be sure the egg is fully beaten into the mixture, before adding another one.
- When you’re happy with how that’s looking, you can fold in your bread cubes and pineapple.
- After you’ve fully incorporated all of those elements with one another, you can pour it into a nearby baking dish. And, considering the amount of mixture, you’ll want to use a baking dish that is roughly 9” x 13”.
- When your oven is ready, toss it inside to bake for about 60 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready to be taken out when the middle of the casserole offers up some “bounce back” when gently pressed upon.
- The second you see that, remove it from the oven, and proceed to sprinkle your cheese over the top of the entire casserole. Then, toss it back in the oven to let the cheese fully melt. Which, in my experience, never takes longer than a few minutes or so.
- Lastly, you’ll remove the entire thing from the oven, plop a portion of this Pot Pineapple Casserole onto a plate, and dig in!
