Ingredients

So, for the unique pineapple raita needed for this recipe, you’re going to need to get:

  • ½ Cup of Unsweetened Pineapple Bits
  • 1 Cup of Reduced-Fat Yogurt Plain
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Ground Cumin
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Salt

And, for wraps, themselves, you’re going to need:

  • 2 Teaspoons of Cannabis-Infused Canola Oil
  • 4 8 Tortillas Whole Wheat, Warmed
  • 3 Cups of Fresh Baby Spinach
  • 1 Cup of Canned Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 Can of Chickpeas Rinsed, Drained
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Ground Cumin
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Ground Coriander
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon of Curry Powder
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Ginger Root Minced
  • 1 Onion Small, Chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Non-stick skillet
When it comes to food of any kind, I prefer to grab a dish that I can enjoy on-the-go. Handheld treats and meals are the best way to achieve this unique culinary goal, and things like tacos and burgers are great examples of how to truly succeed as a “mobile-friendly” meal. And these Weed Chickpea Wraps are capable of all that, and much, much more.

There’s something inherently healthy about a standard wrap that always fills me up, without any sort of guilt. Often, I’ll find myself regretting my meal if I went for a fatty, fast-food option. But, when I take the time to really craft a health-conscious cannabis creation in the comfort of my own kitchen, it really makes me feel good, and never lets me down. Which is what I love most about these Weed Chickpea Wraps.

This recipe, though simple, is a bit intricate in nature. We’re going to need to construct a couple of components first, then put them together in order to create this epic dish. So, with that in mind, I went ahead and separated the ingredients into two sections, which I’m hoping makes everything easier to follow.
So, for the unique pineapple raita needed for this recipe, you’re going to need to get:

Instructions

  • To do that, you’ll simply need to grab a mixing bowl, and combine all of those aforementioned raita ingredients together. And, boom, that’s it.
  • Now, for the wraps, grab yourself a fairly large, non-stick skillet. Place that skillet over “Medium” heat, before adding in your cannabis-infused canola oil.
  • Once that oil has warmed up a touch, you can add in your onions, and allow them to saute in the skillet until they are nice and tender.
  • When you’ve accomplished that, add in your garlic, ginger, and various seasonings. Stir all of those elements in with one another, and cook them together for about a minute.
  • After that brief time period has elapsed, stir in your tomatoes and chickpeas, as you bring everything to a solid boil.
  • The second it reaches that desired boiling point, reduce the heat, take the cover off, and let everything simmer for about 7-8 minutes.
  • Until the contents start to thicken up a bit. Be mindful to stir up the contents every so often throughout the course of this step.
  • Then, you’ll want to evenly distribute those contents onto your tortillas, followed by your previously-made raita, and roll them up.
  • And, boom, that’s it, party people. That’s how you make Weed Chickpea Wraps!

Notes

Now, just because you’ve made enough for four people with this recipe, that doesn’t mean you should overindulge. Approach every homemade edible experience with “baby steps” to avoid any unwanted feelings of being “too high.” Which, understandably, may sound fun, but it rarely results in a pleasant experience. However, if you take “baby steps” with your self-dosing, you are almost guaranteed to have the best time possible.
Which is why I always suggest that my fellow enthusiasts take it slow, eat a small portion to kick things off, and wait about 90 minutes or so for the effects to kick in. Then, at that point, you can reassess how you’re feeling, and if you are happy with how everything is going, by all means, keep enjoying those good vibes. But, if you feel like a little more is needed in order to “get where you want to be,” then, please, have another portion, and go from there.
Eat responsibly, my fellow enthusiasts.
