Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 2 jalapeño peppers, stemmed and seeded (adjust to taste)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon cannabis-infused olive oil
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the tomatillos and jalapeño pepper halves, and cook for about 5 minutes until the tomatillos are soft and slightly tender
- Drain the tomatillos and jalapeño peppers, and transfer them to a blender or food processor
- Add the chopped onion, garlic cloves, cilantro leaves, lime juice, salt, and cannabis-infused oil to the blender or food processor
- Blend all the ingredients until smooth, adding a little water if needed to reach your desired consistency
- Taste the salsa verde and adjust the seasoning as desired, adding more salt or lime juice if needed
- Transfer the salsa verde to a serving bowl or storage container. Allow it to cool before serving, or refrigerate for later use
