Nature’s Grace has a standard white vinyl pouch for most of their edibles. It’s a pretty nondescript package aside from the sticker that provides the product name. All lab testing information is on the back of the pouch. Inside, the Birthday Cake White Chocolate Bar is wrapped in gold foil. The candy itself looks exactly as I’d expect a “birthday cake” candy bar to look – appealing and fun. The white chocolate is filled with multicolored sprinkles, and the bar can easily be separated into four equal sections for a suggested 25mg dose. It looks appetizing and makes me excited to take a bite.

Aroma 5/5
This little candy bar has a strong sweet smell that I noticed right after opening the package. Pretty much what I expected the aroma of a birthday cake flavored product to be. There’s just a hint of a cannabis funk to this candy.

Taste 5/5
This candy is “melt in your mouth” delicious. It’s a smooth white chocolate that’s very sweet, and then the confetti sprinkles inside provide a little crunch that gives it a more interesting texture. I got just a faint taste of cannabis, but it didn’t detract from the overall taste at all. It’s an edible with great flavor, and I’d eat the entire bar in one sitting if I could.

It’s always an interesting time trying an edible for the first time, since there’s only a general idea of when they will kick in. I ate one square of the bar, equal to 25mg THC, in the evening. It took around two hours for the effects to start slowly creeping in, then around an hour later, I felt really high. A good combo of a body and head high – I had soothing feelings throughout my body, and I took greater interest and enjoyment from what I was doing. I experienced no side effects at all, no couch-lock or paranoia, as I enjoyed this candy. Effects were long-lasting, and I was still feeling them around four hours after it first kicked in.

I would recommend this product for users looking to enhance a quiet night at home. It’ll enhance movie or game nights by giving users an even, pleasant high. As a bonus, I was able to get very deep sleep even after the high started to fade so this candy might be best enjoyed for nighttime use. It’s heavy-hitting effect might not be the best for mid-day use. Not only is this edible effective, it’s tasty, too. A great product all the way around.

I was happy to give MedMen a try when I wanted a quality edible. Nature’s Grace has always impressed me with the taste and effect of their product – they’ve really set the bar for edibles, in my opinion. MedMen has one of the most diverse menus of any dispensary in the Chicago area, and that’s what will keep me checking back to see the new edibles that are featured on the menu.

Online ordering is a simple process and it reduces the time spent by customers inside the dispensary. Overall, it’s an efficient way to get people in and out, since MedMen is a popular dispensary.

Part of MedMen’s popularity might come from the variety of products that they stock. There’s such high demand in the Chicago area for legal cannabis, making it hard for many dispensaries to have a variety of edibles, vapes, flower, or whatever I’m looking for. The selection of edibles and vapes at MedMen, in particular, are strong and will give me a reason to keep checking their menu for new additions.
