G6, also known as Jet Fuel, is a 70/30 sativa-dominant hybrid. It comes from Aspen OG and High Country Diesel. Its name refers to the “Gulfstream G650”, a high-speed civilian aircraft.
This pack of G6 Swift Lifts from Verano comes with five 0.5g pre-rolls. They have a THC percentage of 25.34%.
Appearance 3/5
These half-gram pre-rolls are about 3” long, including the 1 ¼” filter. These differ from the other half gram pre-rolls from Swift Lifts because they have a silly long tail that wasn’t trimmed.
The cannabis inside these pre-rolls isn’t ground finely–it’s completely pulverised. These pre-rolls contain powdered cannabis. I cannot emphasize this enough. It is a pain to re-roll, and it would be impossible to smoke the shake in an unfiltered joint or bowl without getting a mouthful.
Aroma 3/5
The G6 Swift Lifts have a very mild aroma. I could hardly smell the flower through the brown, waxy papers. The most prominent note of the aroma is citrus, particularly lime and grapefruit. On top of the citrus notes, this strain has a distinct saltiness that softens down the lime aroma. There is a hint of mint and a slight botanical aroma that is overshadowed by the citrus. I can also smell the bright grassy aroma that is present in the taste.
Taste 3/5
G6 has a grassy taste, and an even grassier aftertaste that lingered in my mouth long after I finished a pre-roll. It’s hard to describe the vegetative taste of G6, but there is a strong leafy overtone that masks much else. I could taste mild flavors of citrus, especially lemon and lime. I could also taste a hint of botanical sweetness that reminded me of tulips, but there was no hint of fruity sweetness. Overall, this strain tasted too “green” for my preference.
Effect 3/5
This sativa-dominant hybrid made me feel alert and focused. I felt strong cerebral effects that didn’t necessarily translate into physical or mental energy. While I felt a slight sense of physical relaxation, this strain didn’t elevate my mood, and it made me feel slightly jittery like I drank too much coffee. This strain also made me clench my teeth and made me feel tense. While there were some pleasant aspects of the effects of G6, it had a substantial amount of negative effects as well.
I recommend that users store these pre-rolls in an airtight container to preserve freshness since the tin they come in is not airtight.
Since the shake is so powdery, users are best smoking these 0.5g pre-rolls as they come, but if a user is going to use the shake, they must use a filter. I also strongly recommend that users do not smoke this shake out of an unfiltered bowl or bong, or even an unfiltered joint.
I have high expectations for products from Verano. They usually have the highest quality flower on the market. While these 0.5g pre-rolls were a decent product, they didn’t live up to my expectations of Verano flower, particularly because of the consistency of the pre-rolls.

My most recent trip to Sunnyside River North was long and frustrating. I encountered what I had been worrying about for months– my online order being sold to someone else before I received it.
I checked in an hour after I placed my order and waited 40 minutes in the waiting room. When I got my ticket and walked to the dispensary, the security guard refused to let me in, claiming it is illegal to let someone in two hours after they placed their order. Obviously, this is not an Illinois State law; it’s a Sunnyside policy, and a new one at that. Not to mention that the ticket reflected the time two hours from when I placed my order, not when I arrived at the dispensary, which coincides with the dispensaries instructions for picking up an order on their website.
I explained to him that I checked in less than two hours after I placed my order and had been waiting for 40 minutes. He told me to talk to someone else. I explained the predicament to a different Sunnyside employee who was very friendly and understanding. He told me to go back to the security guard who turned me away again. Then he told me to go back to the consultation center, where an employee there escorted me back to the dispensary to pick up my order.
Since I arrived in the dispensary–not the consultation center–more than two hours after I placed my order, they released my products to other customers. The budtenders were patient with me while I weighed my options for a product to replace the one they sold.
Even though this experience was extremely frustrating, the Sunnyside staff were very kind and understanding. They worked to help me resolve this issue in the only way possible. But good customer service can’t make up for a flawed system, and I have come to expect more from Sunnyside.
