During this trip, I purchased a pack of sour mango gummies, produced by Wana, a division of Grassroots, based in Litchfield, IL. These sativa cannabis-infused gummies come in a 10-pack. Each piece contains 10mg THC, for a total of 100 mg THC per pack.
Appearance 4/5
These gummies come inside a small plastic container similar to what you might get chewy vitamins or certain hard-shelled gum pieces in. The lid has a childproof safety lock that even I had a difficult time opening at first. Inside are 10 fairly large gummies. The gummies are square, coated in sugar crystals, and have a nice yellow/orange color that looks pretty darn close to actual mango flesh.
Aroma 5/5
Opening up the lid was like slicing into a ripe mango: I immediately was met with the pleasantly sweet, fruity aroma. Mango is probably my favorite fruit, and I’m happy to report that these bites nailed its flavors spot-on. There’s also a slight hint of cannabis too, but what you’re mostly getting is mango.
Taste 5/5
I’ve found that the consistency and texture of infused gummies can vary a lot between brands. Wana’s gummies have a very soft chewiness. As weird as it sounds to say, these are very pleasant to bite into. They have a nice give and the sugar on the outside lends a bit of crunch. Flavor-wise, just like with the smell, I thought these were pretty much a dead-ringer for mango. I’ve got to hand it to Wana on that front. The gummy’s consistency and flavor made me feel like I was biting a fresh slice of mango, minus the stringy bits that get stuck in your teeth – what I consider to be the one small issue with the real thing.
Effect 5/5
Upon first trying these, I went ahead with a 15 mg dose. This involved me cutting a piece in half, which, given the gummies’ consistency, was really easy to do. After an hour, I started to feel the gummies’effects going through me. I was a bit nervous, considering that stronger Sativa doses can sometimes affect me in a negative way, but I’m happy to report that wasn’t the case with these. Instead, I had a very pleasant and chill high. The usual “rush of ideas” I typically get when the high first ramps up still happened, but it wasn’t overwhelming. I’m happy to note that the high also lasted for a good while – I had at least four hours of noticeable effects. It was a pleasant way to unwind and lighten up after what had been a stressful day.
Product price: $31
I would recommend Wana sour mango gummies to those looking for a great-tasting Sativa edible with a pronounced but pleasant high experience. Of course, liking mango flavor is a prerequisite here. If you are a mango fan like me, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how close it tastes to the real thing. These are also nice for micro-dosing for first-timers, due to how easy it is to cut these cleanly.
I really enjoyed my experience with Wana’s mango gummies. They taste excellent, deliver a very nice high, and were priced fairly. This was my first experience with the brand, but I’d be open to trying out their other offerings.

Nature’s Care serves the northwestern Chicago suburbs as a combined medical and recreational dispensary in Rolling Meadows. As such, they’ve done an excellent job of serving both segments of their customer base. Nature’s Care is committed to keeping products in stock for their medical patients no matter what. They also allow medical patients to use their parking lot. Recreational customers are relegated to offsite parking, however, there is plenty of it in the area.
One major update that Nature’s Care has implemented in order to better serve their customers is their curbside delivery service. This was started during the coronavirus pandemic and is a nice way for customers to pick up their pre-ordered products without having to leave their car. It helps them avoid spreading or catching germs and is a convenient, thoughtful touch. The staff has also worked to clean and sanitize their storefront frequently, and now asks all customers entering the store to wash or sanitize their hands before entering the sales floor. In the sales floor, there is a long clear guard which the staff stands behind, again helping to further prevent the spread of germs.
Check out Nature’s Care if you are in the area or if you are seeking a dispensary that’s committed to patient safety during this difficult time. Their online sales platform partner Jane makes it easy to browse the entire menu from the comfort of your own home, then pre-order your products for a quick pickup and checkout process once you get there.
