If I could learn how to make anything, I’d want to learn how to make stuffed peppers. For one reason or another, I’ve become absolutely enamored with stuffed peppers, and their myriad of possibilities. And, with everything under the sun somehow finding its way stuffed inside of a pepper these days, I figured it was high time to combine two of my favorite things, cannabis and turkey, and see how well they work together stuffed inside a pepper. That’s right, party people, I’m going to teach you how to make THC-Infused Turkey Stuffed Peppers, but before we get into the intimate details surrounding this surprisingly simple recipe, I think it’s only fair to acknowledge just how amazing, and underrated, turkey is as a protein.
SEE ALSO: Stay Refreshed (And Stoned) With These Weed Watermelon PopsiclesFor some strange reason, that still remains unbeknownst to me, turkey is constantly getting a bad rap in the poultry section. It’s far leaner (and healthier) than its chicken counterpart, and it’s arguably just as versatile. However, folks tend to assume turkey meat is too bland to be enjoyed, but these imbeciles have obviously never heard of seasoning. I mean, anything is “too bland” without a dash of salt or pepper, so that sort of negative anti-turkey stigma doesn’t fly with me, much like the turkey, itself. The battle of flightless birds will continue to wage on in the back of supermarkets for decades to come, but for the time being, I’m a staunch supporter of any and all things turkey-related, especially if there's a way to implement cannabis into the mix, as well.

Instructions
Alrighty, once you’ve gotten a hold of those elements, we can get started on this recipe for THC-Infused Turkey Stuffed Peppers.
- For starters, we’ll want to grab a non-stick skillet, and place that bad boy over a heat source set on “Medium.” In it, toss in your cannabis-infused olive oil, followed by your garlic and onions. Allow those ingredients to saute for a couple minutes before adding in the spices, ground turkey, and salt.
- When you’ve added all of those elements into the skillet, allow them to cook all the way through. Which, in my experience, doesn’t take much longer than 7-8 minutes, so keep an eye on it as it cooks.
- After that, you’ll want to add in your delicious tomato sauce and ½ cup of chicken stock. Mix those delectable ingredients in with the rest of the elements as best you can. When you feel like everything is incorporated with one another nicely, you can do the same thing with your rice.
- Preheat your oven to a traditional 400°.
Prepare peppers
- And, as that baby warms up, you can carefully wash off your peppers, and remove their tops and seeds. After that, simply stuff each one with your desired amount of turkey and rice.
- When you’ve successfully stuffed all your peppers, you can place them all in a single casserole dish. For good measure, top off each pepper with some cheese, and pour that last ½ cup of chicken stock in the bottom of the casserole dish.
- After that, just throw some tin foil on top of everything, and toss it in the oven to bake for 45 minutes.
- And you are done!

Notes
When that time period is complete, remove it from the oven, and serve these delicious THC-Infused Turkey Stuffed Peppers to any (and all) of your stoner friends, with an admiration for fine cuisine. This meal will not only fill you up, it’ll elevate your mood to new heights that you otherwise would’ve never experienced.
Now, as downright amazing as these THC-Infused Turkey Stuffed Peppers are, it’s important to remember to ease into your dosing, especially with homemade edibles of this nature. If you’d like, you can consult our Dosing Calculator found on this very page. But, if you’re looking for a “rule of thumb” to put into play while partaking, I’d say just go about these things with a “baby step” mentality.
By that I mean, you can always eat more and increase your high, but if you overindulge too quickly, without allowing the THC enough time to release its effects, via your metabolism, you may find yourself a bit too high.
Which, to the average stoner, may seem like an impossibility, but if you find that you are susceptible to minor bouts of panic, anxiety, or paranoia, you will want to make sure you take “baby steps” during your dosing, as any sudden increase (and excess) of THC in one’s system could lead to such undesirable series of effects.
However, that said, you should be more than fine, nay great, if you gradually approach this edible experience. Take a little nibble, and let the effects get a chance to work their way into your system, before deciding if you want more or not. Trust me, you’ll be happy that you did.
All that to say that, if you follow these steps, and only put in a small amount of THC, you should be able to eat a normal portion, as usual, without any sort of hyper psychoactivity.
Slow and steady wins the race, as they say. And that goes double for edibles, believe me!
