Health and hemp seeds. These two go hand-in-hand, as the amount of hemp seed benefits and hemp seed nutrition are becoming more and more known across the world.
While health should always be on the forefront of everyone’s minds constantly, sadly, it seems as though “health kicks” are more often seen as brief lifestyle trends, as opposed to complete ways of life. At least, that’s how it is for most people. But, even taking that into consideration, I feel like the benefits of hemps seeds, and hemp protein, in general will win over a lot of people in the near future.
Hemp Seeds Are The New “Superfood” – Here’s Why
Meanwhile, hemp benefits are widely enjoyed by a large swath of people, especially in today’s cannabis-friendly climate, wherein they know about the intricate health benefits of hemp seeds.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of health nuts out there who treat their bodies like a temple, with nothing but nutrients going into their cherished systems. Which is great, but what about for the rest of us, who tend to lack the proper amount of motivation and wherewithal to make such a change permanent in our otherwise sedentary lifestyles?

I think it’s perhaps because that goal of ultimate health seems too unattainable for the “Average Joe,” such as myself. You’re always hearing tales of hours spent at a gym, diets being drastically reworked, and a litany of extracurricular activities going into place, solely to accomplish what many experts would deem a “moderately healthy” lifestyle.
But, if we start to realize that the majority of well-being and weight loss comes in the form of a dietary change, that could, potentially, make the route towards optimal fitness a bit smoother, and thus, not as challenging for those who need a bit of boost to “get things going.” And I think the most efficient way to do that is to realize that, something we already encounter in everyday life (at least, for most of us), is actually what experts consider a “superfood.”
What “superfood” could I be referencing that most cannabis enthusiasts encounter on a regular basis, you ask? Why, none other than the wildly popular, hemp seed, my friends! Believe it or not, that beloved seed is a straight-up “superfood.”
Don’t believe me? Well, then I’m more than happy to elaborate a bit more on the subject.
First and foremost, hemp seeds are packed with a litany of critical nutrients found in an ideal, healthy diet. To be more specific, they have an excellent equilibrium of omega 3 and omega 6 elements. That, in concert with the vitamin E and iron present, along with a handful of useful amino acids, hemp seeds are some of the most nutritious seeds on the planet, without question.

Not only are they stuffed to the gills with vital nutrients and vitamins, but they can be enjoyed in a number of different ways. Seriously, is there anything hemp seeds can’t do? I feel like that list would be shorter.
If you are at all interested in partaking in hemp seeds as a part of your nutritionally-balanced diet, you can do so, either by eating them shelled or whole, kind of like sunflower seeds. Or, if you’d like, you can toast ‘em up for a bit of flavor, or simply eat them raw. Hell, if you want to even think about seasoning these bad boys with a moderate amount of any spice you’d like, you can feel more than free to do so, as there is, quite literally, no wrong way to eat hemp seeds.
They are just little morsels of nutrition that every cannabis enthusiast should implement into their daily diet, in my personal opinion.
Looking to take your hemp seed intake to the next level? Why not press these little guys down to make an oil. You can then utilize this oil to make all sorts of protein-packed powders and cakes, the likes of which you can also enjoy to better your health. It’s almost as if hemp seeds were designed with the bored consumer in mind, because there is no end to the possibilities one can employ with hemp seeds.

And, again, what’s amazing is how good they are for you! It’s incredible!
Another reason why hemp seeds are awesome is how they affect, or in this case, don’t affect the environment in negative ways.
In these times, we are constantly searching for ways to halt global warming, and one of the biggest culprits of this climate crisis is the abundance of methane in the atmosphere. This gas does a ton of damage to the environment and ozone layer, which in turn, results in a laundry list of climate-related side effects. Methane is mostly caused by cows when they pass gas, as they graze away their final days on the pasture.
Which, sure, may seem comical on the onset, but when you consider how much damage these cows are doing to the atmosphere, you’d be appalled. And it’s only this bad because of our nation’s want and need for “quality beef” at all times. This has led to an influx of slaughterhouses and cow farms, which are the typical sources of excess methane.
All of these establishments are personally responsible for the spike in methane found in the atmosphere, which is causing nothing but harm to our fragile planet. This occurrence has made it vital for humans to seek out other forms of protein that would deliver the same nutrients, without all of that climate-related damage. Which is precisely what hemp seeds can do. Hemp seeds require far less carbon concentration, which in turn, saves the environment. It’s a “win, win” situation, really.

Any way you slice it, hemp seeds are the future of healthy eating, and it’s no wonder why these beautiful little seeds are considered a “superfood” by experts. Not only can they deliver a wealth of positive proteins, nutrients, and vitamins to the system, but they can do so by barely affecting the environment whatsoever. It takes a fraction of the time, effort, and space to create them, and their positive benefits continue to be discovered as the years go on.
More and more people have already “seen the light,” so to speak, and have welcomed hemp seeds into their diets with open arms (and empty stomachs). Which, to be completely honest, is something we should all be doing, especially us, cannabis enthusiasts.
Who knows, maybe if we all do our part, and lessen the damage we are doing to our planet, perhaps, we’ll be able to turn the tides on climate change after all.
Fingers crossed.
